302 Orthodontics (formerly Alpine and Rafetto Orthodontics) has been a part of the community for 50 years. Our doctors have been at the heart of what makes this practice a trusted name. With a shared passion for doing what’s right and a commitment to personalized treatment, they bring decades of experience, board-certified expertise, and a warm, approachable style to every patient interaction.

MISSION: CONFIDENCE
Dr. Mark Fiss combines clinical expertise with a strong commitment to community care. He earned his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh, completed his orthodontic residency at The Ohio State University, and a general practice residency at Christiana Care. A proud graduate of Wilmington Friends School and Lafayette College, Dr. Fiss is also a founding member of the Independent Dental Society of Delaware - a group dedicated to promoting the value of personalized, independent dental care. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and American Association of Orthodontists, and has served as President of the Delaware State Society of Orthodontists since 2014.
A lifelong Philadelphia sports fan, Dr. Fiss enjoys golf, running, and swimming, and loves spending time with his wife Marissa and their three children.

Mark Fiss, DMD, MS

Dr. Mark Fiss combines clinical expertise with a strong commitment to community care. Dr. Leah Yi completed her dental and orthodontic training at the University of Pennsylvania, where she also earned a Master’s in Oral Biology and conducted research on craniofacial growth. She is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and brings a comprehensive, health-focused approach to care, including experience with early intervention, surgical cases, and aligner therapy.
Originally from Korea, Dr. Yi has lived across the U.S. and now calls Delaware home with her husband, Dr. Colin Rice, and their two children. In her free time, she enjoys tennis, biking, gardening, and staying active in her local church.

Leah Yi, DMD, MS

Dr. Peter Sulaiman is passionate about delivering exceptional orthodontic care with a focus on precision, innovation, and personalized treatment. He earned his dental degree and completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Pittsburgh, along with a Master's degree researching the airway benefits of expanders in children. A former varsity soccer player at Grove City College, Dr. Sulaiman brings discipline and detail to every aspect of his work. Outside the office, he enjoys playing soccer, golfing, and hiking with his wife and young family.

Peter Sulaiman, DMD, MS

Dr. Peter Sulaiman is passionate about delivering exceptional orthodontic care with a focus on precision, innovation, and personalized treatment. He earned his dental degree and completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Pittsburgh, along with a Master’s degree researching the airway benefits of expanders in children. From the very beginning, my son and I liked this practice and felt very comfortable coming here. Things were explained clearly to us and when it finally came time for my son to have braces, it was great. The doctors were very nice and the orthodontist techs were all very nice. The young lady who put his braces on was great. I’m glad we were referred here and will definitely refer others. The whole atmosphere of the office is awesome.

Our experience here has been great! As a previous patient (many years ago), I was comfortable with the team caring for my own children. They understand not only how to care for their patients,  but also the families! We had three children need braces at the SAME time and the staff understood all of the implications of this and went above and beyond to work with us to make sure everyone was cared for!
